Our Marriage
My name is Nick and about 11 years ago I was in the same position as yourself, single and disillusioned with English girls. In those days I didn’t have Internet access so I bought a contact magazine and after writing to many ladies, Lilya replied, she liked the photos I sent and what I said.
After corresponding a few times by post, one of my friends offered me the use of his computer, so I was able to e-mail Lilya on nearly a daily basis. Which wasn’t easy for her as she had to translate my e-mails with the help of a dictionary, as her English at that time wasn’t good.
4 months later in August I went out to ‘UFA’ to meet Lilya and had a great 2 weeks holiday, so good in fact that we decided we wanted to get married and spend the rest of our lives together. I then went back to Russia in November, this time meeting Lilya in Moscow, so she could apply for a short stay visa to visit England at Christmas, this she got with no problems.
Just before Lilya flew to England for Christmas she applied for her settlement visa so she could return to the UK after we were married in February, 1999.
Our First Born
We were married in Lilya’s home city UFA on February 5th, 1999 and returned to the UK a week later after collecting her settlement visa from the British embassy in Moscow.
As I have travelled to Russia and the Ukraine on numerous occasions before meeting Lilya I have built up an extensive list of good contacts, so I know what I am talking about (been there done it as the saying goes).
Previously we produced good quality magazines every 3 months with about 200 new ladies in each magazine. What we have found out over the past year is that men want to access ladies details straight away and not pay for a magazine. They prefer just paying for the contact details of ladies THEY want to meet. Because of this we decided to update our website and make it fully interactive.
